Matthiew Klinck
began his filmmaking career in 1990 at age 12, funneling profits from his Nintendo club into video production equipment. In 1992 he made a documentary that won him his first national award—first prize at the Canadian Video Challenge. In 1994 he created a sketch-comedy series entitled "Y B Normal?", which aired on Rogers Cable in Ottawa before being picked up by The Comedy Network for 19 episodes over 2 seasons. In 1999 he founded Mouska Media, which began by producing music videos and short films. After directing several television projects for such broadcasters as CBC, Family, TVA and The Movie Network, as well as several successful shorts, he began focusing exclusively on producing / directing / editing feature films. 2005 saw the release of “Greg & Gentillon”, which sold out numerous festival screenings and won the Discovery Award at the Calgary International Film Festival. Matthiew’s next movie is backed by THINKFilm (2005 Academy Award winners) in Toronto and Shoreline Entertainment in Los Angeles.
