Brooke Stubbings was born in Toronto Ontario. At a young age she became one of the founding members of The Strolling Youth Player’s, a theatre troupe residing in Barrie Ontario under the artistic direction of Joy Bainborough. Brooke trained and studied theatre performance at Humber College. At Humber she studied under some of the finest artists in Canada. Humber Credits include: Richard III (Yanna Macintosh), Blood Wedding (Raymond Bobgan and Karin Randojia), Fuente Ovejuna (Tanja Jacobs), Red Castle Inquiry (Raymond Bobgan and Karin Randojia), and Shorter Wilder Lives (Diana Belshaw). In 2004 Brooke co-created The Blood of a Coward with Praxis Theatre which received a five star review from EYE magazine and won "Patron’s Pick" in the 2004 Fringe Festival. Brooke has also worked on a few independent and student films. Film credits include: Blink and The Sixth (Antonino Pruiti), Out for the Night (Nathan Zimmerman) and Her Red Shoes (Adam Kerovich).
