Andrea Juan Alvarez born in México City in 1972. Studied Film Direction in
the Centro de Capacitación Cinematográfica. She directed her first
short film in 1994. In 1996, she directed a feature film "Modern
Rhapsody" for an american production company. In 1999, she directed a
short film in México and Canada: "The City". In 2004 she directed her
first feature documentary film: "Miracle Makers" about the mexican
tradition of "exvoto" paintings. In 2004 she also directed a feature
documentary film about a mexican bullfighter: Requiem for King David
that is produced for the Mexican cultural tv chanel 11. In 2006 she
directed a short film Holly water. Andrea works also as a script
supervisor since 1995.
