Andrea Juan Alvarez

Andrea Juan Alvarez born in México City in 1972. Studied Film Direction in the Centro de Capacitación Cinematográfica. She directed her first short film in 1994. In 1996, she directed a feature film "Modern Rhapsody" for an american production company. In 1999, she directed a short film in México and Canada: "The City". In 2004 she directed her first feature documentary film: "Miracle Makers" about the mexican tradition of "exvoto" paintings. In 2004 she also directed a feature documentary film about a mexican bullfighter: Requiem for King David that is produced for the Mexican cultural tv chanel 11. In 2006 she directed a short film Holly water. Andrea works also as a script supervisor since 1995.
